This two-inch memorial challenge coin honors the life and legacy of Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Butler. This coin was designed by co-workers of Deputy Butler in partnership with El-Hefe Designs.
Deputy Butler was a 12-year veteran of the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office and leaves behind a wife, five children and two grandchildren. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for over two decades. He completed a combat tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and later became an Army recruiter.
Bill was remembered for always willing to lend a helping hand and always showing up for those he loved. He enjoyed fishing, boating, working out, traveling with his family, trips to the casino, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Deputy Butler was 51-years old.
